Testing is an important area within the services provided by H&M Compressors. When the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 came into force in February 2000, it stated users and owners of pressure systems would be required to demonstrate they are aware of the safe operating limits, primarily pressure and temperature, of their pressure systems, and that the systems are safe and tested under those conditions. Users and owners would need to ensure that suitable written certification of test examination was in place before the system is operated. The Regulations state that the pressure system should be tested and examined in accordance with the written scheme of examination. H&M Compressors can provide qualified engineers, trained by BCAS to test and inspect Air Receivers and Pressured Systems with Written Schemes of Examination organised on request. As a Health and Safety requirement, all UK businesses must prove they have taken the right steps to protect their employees from breathing hazardous fumes. H&M Compressors can provide Breathing Air Testing to BS4275:1997 standards as recommended by HSE to prevent operatives becoming endangered by fumes and dirt particles that can cause harm.
